Family and Child Health

The Family and Child Health section supports health promotion across the lifespan of individuals and families. We believe that experiences before pregnancy, during pregnancy, and in early childhood play an important role in shaping lifelong health and well-being. Our work spans multiple public health disciplines and is supported by several funding sources. We partner with local health departments to provide a wide range of clinical and community-based health services. Family and Child Health programs include Home Visiting, Preconception and Women’s Health, Surveillance and Evaluation, Early Hearing Detection and Intervention, Oral Health Across the Lifespan, and the Title V Block Grant.
